The Traceability Standard
The cibus.trace standards bring transparency and traceability to the food chain – from farm to retail shelf. Industry-specific guidelines provide production and marketing companies with standardized tools for implementing and verifying the quality and origin of their products.
By voluntarily participating, all stakeholders along the value chain contractually commit to implement and comply with requirements that go beyond the legal minimum. Regular external controls ensure traceability back to the origin of agricultural raw materials. Compliance is confirmed with certificates.
Delimax GmbH acts as a neutral and independent system operator regarding the production, processing, and marketing of food. The cibus label on products makes the added value visible to consumers, while strengthening confidence in safe products and the positioning of participants within the system.
Meat Standard
Transparency and origin assurance in the fresh meat supply chain.
The Meat Standard particularly supports compliance with EU regulations:
- (EU) No. 1169/2011 – Origin labeling of pork, sheep, goat, and poultry meat
- (EU) No. 1337/2013 – Implementing Regulation to VO(EG) 11/2011
- (EU) No. 1760/2000 or 653/2014 – Beef Labeling Regulation
Egg Standard
Housing and origin assurance in the egg product supply chain.
The guideline stipulates that only eggs from free-range and barn systems with controlled origin may be used in the production of egg-containing products. This makes the housing and origin declaration transparent for consumers, even for processed foods containing egg ingredients.
The standard goes beyond the minimum requirements of various EU regulations for processed foods and promotes free-range and barn housing for laying hens.
